How AI Helps Me Produce Content 10x Faster: Article, Video, Distribution in One Flow
I produce articles, video recordings, social media posts, and newsletters. As a solo business. No marketing team, no agency, no interns. I do this because I have an AI system that turns one idea into 10+ pieces of content. And I want to show you exactly how it works.
The Problem: Content Marketing Without a Team
If you run a company with 10-50 employees, you probably know this dilemma: you know you should publish content (blog, social media, newsletter). But:

I built a pipeline (chain of automations) that looks like this:
- Idea → dictated into Diktator (my dictation app)
- Raw transcription → AI expands into a full article
- Article → AI generates variants for different platforms

Let's look at each step in detail.
Step 1: I Dictate the Idea (10-15 minutes)
I go for a walk or drive. I dictate raw thoughts on the topic I want to describe. I don't worry about structure, punctuation, or completeness. I just say what I know and what I want to convey.
Example: this article you're reading started as a 12-minute dictation during a walk. Raw text: 1,800 words of chaotic thoughts.
Step 2: AI Creates an Article Draft (5 minutes of work + 2 minutes of generation)
I paste the transcription into Claude with a prompt I've been refining for months. The prompt includes:
- My writing style (concrete, no corporate speak, with numbers)
- Article structure (problem → solution → specific steps → CTA)
- Target audience (SMB owners, 40-60 years old, non-technical)
- SEO guidelines (keywords, length, H2/H3 headings)
AI generates a full draft: 1,500-2,500 words, with headings, examples, and structure. This isn't a finished article --- it's a solid base that needs my editing.
Step 3: My Edit (30-45 minutes)
This is the key step. AI writes well, but it doesn't write like me. I go through the draft and:
- Add specific examples from my implementations (AI doesn't know my stories)
- Adjust the tone (AI is sometimes too formal or too casual)
- Verify facts and numbers
- Add personal stories --- anecdotes, insights, opinions
- Remove generic phrases ("in today's dynamic world" etc.)
After editing, the article is ready. Total time: ~1 hour (vs. 6-8 hours before).
Step 4: AI Generates Platform Variants (3 minutes)
From the finished article, AI automatically creates:
- 3 LinkedIn posts (each from a different angle: personal story, business lesson, controversial thesis)
- Facebook post (shorter, more accessible)
- X/Twitter thread (5-8 tweets)
- Short video script (60-90 seconds, to record on phone)
- Newsletter section (summary + link to article)
One idea → 7-10 pieces of content. Each adapted to the platform. Each requiring 5-10 minutes of my editing.
Step 5: Automatic Distribution
After my approval, Make (automation tool) publishes content on the appropriate platforms at scheduled times. I don't have to log into 5 different platforms and click "publish."

Of course, it requires my time (8-12 hours per month). But it's my time, my expertise, my voice. AI accelerates production. Authenticity remains mine.
The Most Important Lesson: AI Writes, You Think
The biggest mistake I see in people using AI for content: they enter a prompt "write an article about AI in business" and publish whatever AI produces. Result? Generic, soulless text that sounds like everything else.
My system works because:
- The ideas are mine. AI doesn't invent topics. I dictate what I know from experience.
- The examples are real. Every story, number, and case study comes from my implementations.
- Editing is manual. I go through every sentence. I remove what sounds like AI. I add what sounds like me.
- AI is a tool, not an author. Just as a calculator isn't a mathematician.
How to Implement This in Your Business
You don't have to build such a system from scratch. Here's a plan to start:
Minimal Version ($0, 1 hour setup)
- Create a ChatGPT Plus (~$20/month) or Claude Pro (~$20/month) account
- Write a prompt describing your style, audience, and content type

- Edit and publish
This won't give you automatic multi-platform distribution, but it will give you 5x faster article creation. That's enough to start.
Advanced Version (with automation)
When the minimal version proves itself, add:
- Automatic generation of social media variants
- Scheduled distribution via Make or Zapier
- AI-managed content calendar
- Performance analysis (which topics work best)
This requires 2-3 days of setup (alone or with a consultant). Cost: $35-75/month for tools. Result: agency-level content marketing for a fraction of the price.
